Motorcycle Safety Program

Grand Rapids Community College now provides motorcycle safety training as a community service to Kent, Kalamazoo, Ottawa and Berrien county. This program is sponsored by a grant from the Michigan Department of State, with funds being provided by motorcycle licensing fees and cycle endorsements from the Michigan Secretary of State Office.

All of our coaches have partaken in several motorcycle safety in-services and training updates. They are certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation^® in the Basic RiderCourse^SM implementation. They have several years of practical riding experience as well as classroom and range training.
