Manufacturing Camp for 7th - 9th Graders!

Description:

If your child likes building things or investigating how things are made, this camp is for them!

Manufacturing Camp is a hands-on experience. Campers get to create useful projects to take home and wow parents and friends!

Campers will work with power tools, a plasma laser cutter, welding and more! Experience is not a required. If your child is curious, willing to learn, can listen attentively, our expert instructors will guide them through the projects.

Your child will leave with the satisfaction and pride that comes from taking a project from start to finish. They will learn the importance of safety. They will see first hand how math and science apply to real life. All of this helps cultivate strenghts and interests. It may even lead them to a rewarding career path!

Please note: As a part of this camp, students must receive written approval from their parents or guardian.

Due to grant funding requirements, students may only register for one camp.


A copy of the GRCC's Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for review. This report is required by the federal law and contains statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain non-campus buildings or property owned and controlled by GRCC; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The ASR also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual misconduct, emergency procedures, and other matters.
