Implicit Bias Training for Healthcare Supervisors

Description:

Retain and Engage Your Employees Supervisors regularly face challenges around issues of engagement, communication, commitment and compliance. Many of these issues are rooted in deeper social issues, such as: power, authority and culture as well as race, gender, sexual orientation and class conflicts.

Participants will explore:
  • unconscious bias
  • unwritten rules
  • competing commitments
  • poverty

This workshop will provide opportunities for self-reflection, personal awareness, problem solving and solutions to increase engagement and reduce employee turnover.

Cost is $100*

*Healthcare staff and supervisors may attend this training free of charge, and will be required to sign a brief leveraged funding form during the training for America's Promise Grant. By selecting, "Currently working for a healthcare employer" upon registration, you agree to complete the form the day of the training.
