Introduction to sUAS / Learn to Fly Drones


This 21 hour Introduction to sUAS is designed to take individuals with little or no drone flight experience and progress them all the way through preparing for the remote pilot commercial certification test that is given separately by Federal Aviation Testing centers. Covered in this class are multiple types of drone systems, use applications, legal issues, maintenance, FAA regulations, piloting skills and safety best practices.

Participants Notes:
  • Must be 16 years old
  • Drones will be provided for class
  • Laptop or Macbook (MacOS) is required, most be able to run Windows 8 or 10.
