The Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) workshop is a dynamic and engaging two-day immersion into Scrum. We will learn Scrum by doing Scrum through experiential hands-on exercises, peer discussion, and self-learning. The public class format allows participants with different backgrounds, experience and skill levels to learn not only from the instructor but also from each other by sharing real-world solutions to real-world problems.
The goal of this class is not only to have students understand the fundamentals of scrum, but more importantly how to leverage scrum to help create highly collaborative, sustainable and successful teams. A Certified ScrumMaster leads and guides their team, focusing on agile project management. Your trainer will share practical experiences and proven techniques for successfully implementing Scrum in your workplace.
CSM candidates are expected to build a body of knowledge of the Scrum framework, including its roles, events and artifacts. Incorporating Scrum principles and practices takes diligence, patience, and a commitment to continous improvement. Scrum is a framework, not a prescriptive methodology.
Learning Objectives fall into the following categories:
- Lean, Agile and Scrum
- Scrum Master Core Competencies
- Service to the Development Team

- Service to the Organization
Earning a Certified ScrumMaster means you have mastered team roles, events and artifacts.
