Water to Work Career Pathway Application

Description:

Work as a part-time intern with the City of Grand Rapids Water Department, making $18.06/hr, while you take online courses through Bay Community College and Grand Rapids Community College. During the program you will be mentored by current and retired City of Grand Rapids employees. Completion of this program will aid you in receiving your certification in Michigan Drinking Water and Municipal Wastewater Michigan Licensing.

Participant eligibility requirements:
  • 18 years or older
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Pass a background check
  • Take a GRCC math placement test
