(CPT) program is 132 hours of active learning incorporating the knowledge and skills desired for employment in the manufacturing sector. The entry level positions include quality and/or production technicians. Wages for these positions range from $12-16 per hour (per the State of Michigan's Hot Job Listing).

Individuals in this training have the opportunity to earn the following national credentials:
Manufacturing Skills Standards Certified (MSSC) CPT-Safety
Manufacturing Skills Standards (MSSC) CPT-Quality certification
Manufacturing Skills Standards (MSSC) CPT-Production certification
Training is delivered in an active learning environment - classroom, lab-learning, facility site visits, and interactive on-line learning. Participants will be expected to fully participate in lab activities, site visits, on-line learning, and assessment. A team of outstanding professionals in the manufacturing field will be working with participants to give students the skills employers are looking for in candidates, as well as coaching them through the course work.
