Description:

This workshop will provide participants with the tools neccessary to implement quick changeover techniques. Participants will learn what is quick changeover and why it is important, a five step process for systematically reducing changeover time, how to gather information and analyze it, three types of waste to watch for and techniques to eliminate them, the difference between internal and external and how to streamline. Participants will watch an actual changeover during the workshop.

Outcomes:


  • Describe the tools necessary to implement quick changeover techniques

  • State what is quick changeover and why it is important

  • Describe a five step process for systematically reducing changeover time

  • Demonstrate how to gather information and analyze it

  • Explain three types of waste to watch for and techniques to eliminate them

  • Explain difference between internal and external and how to streamline the process of change-over
