This course will provide the basics of project management that you will begin to practice in your Lean project. The following will be emphasized: methods and templates for organizing a Lean improvement project, appropriate detailing of tasks required to accomplish a specific improvement project, the clinical nature of timelines, the need to identify what success is and if you have met it, the need to practice the principles of Plan-Do-Check-Act while conducting an improvement project, and understanding that the process of managing an improvement project requires constant improvement just like any other process.
