Engineering drawings detail what your customer requires for product specifications. Insuring that all on the manufacturing team can read and interpret prints may prevent errors, rework, and waste. These two modules de-mystify elements and orientations on the drawing. Module I covers basic print features common to most drawings. Module II expands to interpreting a variety of symbols used to further specify requirements. Both modules include practice exercises to insure accurate interpretation.
Identify part features such as countersinks, counter bores, slots, etc
Calculate one and two-sided tolerances for decimal dimensions
Identify welding and surface finish symbols
Dimension external and internal threads
Understand 1st angle vs 3rd angle projection
Recognize GD&T feature control frames and some symbols
